EIDBI compliance, revalidation, and licensing readiness
Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) serves people under 21 with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. EIDBI agencies face close state review, revalidation, and new licensing standards on the way. We help agencies keep documentation, staffing, and billing solid through these changes.
As of July 2026, DHS has paused new Medicaid provider enrollment for several higher-risk services, including CFSS, adult day services, ARMHS, IRTS, EIDBI, and integrated community supports, while it revalidates existing providers. Exceptions are possible and the pause may change. We help existing providers complete revalidation and stay compliant, and we help new agencies plan around the pause.

Frequently asked questions
Can a new EIDBI agency enroll right now?
DHS has paused new Medicaid enrollment for EIDBI while it revalidates existing providers. We can help you understand the status and plan ahead.
Is EIDBI going to require a license?
DHS has drafted comprehensive licensing standards for EIDBI providers and plans to send recommended standards to the Legislature by January 2027. Requirements could change, so we track the process and help agencies prepare.
What do reviewers look for in EIDBI records?
Generally, whether each service was authorized, delivered as planned, provided by qualified and supervised staff, and documented clearly. We review your records the same way.
